PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an opening and closing lid so as not to protrude horizontally outward when operating an opening and closing lid to an opened state of the opening or a closed state of the opening in a waste straw-processing part of a combine harvester, which has the openings in right and left side wall parts of a waste straw cover covering the waste straw carried to the rear side of a machine body while moving the straws in a laid attitude to the ear side, and includes the swingable opening and closing lid for closing the openings. SOLUTION: The opening and closing lid 41 is arranged at the side wall part 39 on the ear side of the waste straw cover 34 and constituted so as be opened and closed relative to the opening by being swung around a right and left horizontal axis, and attitude holding means 43, 44, 45 for holding the opening and closing lid 41 at the closed attitude or the opened attitude.
