A fluorescent lamp with a ballast is provided to facilitate checking and replacement of the ballast by separating the ballast from a lower part of a fluorescent lamp body. A fluorescent lamp body has an installation bracket(1) and a fluorescent lamp(2) at a lower part. A ballast socket(6) is installed at an upper part of the fluorescent lamp body and has an electric wire(4) connected to the fluorescent lamp and a main power supply and a connection terminal groove. A ballast(8) has a connection terminal(7) coupled with the ballast socket and a stabilizing circuit to stabilize current supplied to the fluorescent lamp. A lower end of a ballast housing(9) is opened to allow the ballast to enter the fluorescent lamp body, and an upper end thereof is opened to expose the connection terminal groove of the ballast socket. The ballast is coupled with the ballast socket inside the ballast housing so that the ballast is separated from the ballast socket to be checked and replaced without separating the fluorescent lamp body from an installation place. |
