PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight and costs of a wooden pallet for transportation. SOLUTION: The wooden pallet 10 for transportation consists of: a plurality of beams 11 arranged in parallel; and a plurality of top plates 12 and bottom plates 13 arranged in parallel in the approximately orthogonal direction to these beams 11, and is formed by pinching the beams 11 with the top plates 12 and the bottom plates 13 from above and below sides and fixing them. Reinforcing ribs 12a extending in the longitudinal direction of the plates are continuously provided on the undersurfaces of the top plates 12, reinforcing ribs 13a extending in the longitudinal direction of the plates are continuously provided on the upper faces of the bottom plates 13, a plurality of fitting channels 11a arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the plates are provided on the upper faces and the undersurfaces of the beams 11, the reinforcing ribs 12a of the top plates 12 are fitted into the fitting channels 11a on the upper faces of the beams 11, and the reinforcing ribs 13a of the bottom plates 13 are fitted into the fitting channels 11a of the undersurfaces of the beams 11. As the top plates 12 and the bottom plates 13 are reinforced with the ribs 12a and 13a, the thicknesses of them is decreased to reduce the weight and costs of the pallet 10.
