<p>A variable operating valve mechanism of an internal combustion engine is provided to transfer displacement of a cam effectively by providing at a low-load part with a rolling roller member and at a high-load part with a sliding roller member in the valve mechanism. A variable operating valve mechanism of an internal combustion engine comprises a cam shaft, a cam(51a), a lock arm(61) of driving a valve such as a suction valve(19a), a moving cam(64) of receiving a displacement of the cam to drive the locker arm and a transferring member such as a center locker arm(62) installed between the moving cam and the cam. The locker arm includes a rolling roller member such as a needle roller member(66) and a sliding roller member such as a first sliding roller member(67). The rolling roller member includes an inner wheel(66b), an outer wheel(66a) and a rolling element such as a needle(66c). At least one side of a first transferring part(91) and a second transferring part has a sliding bearing mechanism. The displacement of cam is transferred from the cam to the transferring member and then transferred from the transferring member to the moving cam through the first transferring part and the second transferring part, respectively.</p> |
