PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality determination device for an electric water pump capable of suppressing the erroneous determination of a matter that the drive state of the electric water pump is abnormal regardless of the fact that the drive state is normal. SOLUTION: An electronic control device 5 as the abnormality determination device for the electric pump 34 determines the matter that the drive state of the electric pump is abnormal when cooling water is pressure-fed from the electric pump 34 to a heater core 33 provided in a second passage 12 of an engine 2 at the stop of the engine 2 and a cooling water temperature ThWC in the heater core 33 is lower than a cooling water temperature ThWE in the engine 2 by a predetermined value or larger. In the electronic control device 5, an amount Lw of cooling water existing in a cooling water passage 10 is detected by a water amount sensor 43. The electronic control device 5 forbids the abnormality determination of the electric pump 34 when the amount Lw of cooling water is smaller than a previously set predetermined amount Lwth.
