A contractile and expandable stent having a cylindrical check valve at the inside is provided to secure a passage for fluid such as food and to remove a side effect caused by a backflow by installing the sleeve check valve at the inner side. A contractile and expandable stent inserted into the internal cavity of living bodies is composed of: a cylindrical wire meshed structure produced by plaiting one or more wires or crossing the wires across each other in zigzag; a coating film(2) made of biocompatible elastic polymer being applied on the wire meshed structure; and a backflow preventing check valve(3) formed in the shape of a cylindrical sleeve and joined along the cylinder formed at an inner upper end(4) of the wire meshed structure. Diameters of both ends of the wire meshed structure are expanded larger than a diameter of a body. |
