PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a printing method in which print efficiency can be prevented from lowering by eliminating drawbacks of prior art and performing print operation continuously even if the sheet size is different so long as the possibility of collapse of a stack is low. SOLUTION: A print size acquiring means acquires a first print size and a second print size following to first print, and a print size comparing means compares the first print size with the second print size. If collapse of a stack does not take place, a print control means controls the operation to perform second print operation continuously to first print operation thus realizing a printer where the print efficiency can not be lowered. |
