<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Web service function by installing standard Web service corresponding software without installing a plurality of pieces of driver software for using a plurality of image forming functions into a computer terminal to be used by a user or without depending on the type of the computer terminal or operating system. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with: a means which processes image formation or internal information associated with the image formation processing in response to a processing request and which generates a processing response indicating a processing result; and a means which processes the internal information by executing processing units configuring the Web service provision processing means and which generates the processing response corresponding to the processing request by carrying out additional processing by using the processing result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
