Lectin based glycane assay

Deglycosylated detectors are used to determine the sugar structure of proteins. Independent claims are also included for: (1) determining the sugar structure of recombinant proteins by incubating a test protein with a labeled deglycosylated detector and determining the interaction between the protein and detector; (2) sugar assay kit comprising a deglycosylated detector (antibody or protein A) and a deglycosylated enzyme capable of participating in an enzyme-substrate reaction to detect the interaction between a protein and the detector.
