A gaming machine includes a display, an input device and a processor. The display has a plurality of variable display portions, each of which variably displays a plurality of symbols. The processor determines the symbol to be displayed in a stopped state on each of the variable display portions of the display, and sets a plurality of activated lines constituted by some of the variable display portions aligned in a straight line among the plurality of the variable display portions. The input device outputs input operation information in accordance with an input operation by a player, and the processor sets a specific line constituted by the plurality of the variable display portions and more profitable than each of the activated lines, based on the input operation information. |
