A paste composition for an electrode is provided to improve cost efficiency, to prevent reduction of a dielectric and oxidation of an electrode, and to realize high conductivity and reproducibility, particularly in fabricating plasma display panels. A paste composition for an electrode comprises: Ag powder; at least one metal powder selected from Li, K, Ba, Ca, Na, Mg, Al, Zn, Fe, Cd, Co, Ni, Sn, Pb, Cu, Hg, Pt and Au, and mixed in an amount of 0.1-50 mol% based on Ag powder; and a vehicle. The paste composition optionally further comprises composite powder having a multi-wall structure in an amount of 0.1-50 mol% based on Ag powder.
