A diversity type GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver is provided to reliably maintain a property reception state of a signal by processing the signal using a spatial diversity scheme. A diversity type GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver includes plural path processors(120,140) and a baseband unit(160). The path processors include RF(Radio Frequency) signal processors(128,148) for converting received GPS RF signals to baseband signals. The GPS RF signal is received through an antenna. The baseband unit converts the baseband signal to a digital signal and compares plural digital signals with one another. The baseband unit compensates for the digital signal. The path processor includes LNA(Low Noise Amplifier) amplifiers(124,144), which are connected between antennas and the RF processors, respectively.
