A lens correcting method is provided to correct a lens with a small amount of data by using a common profile and gain controllers for channels and perform a minimum number of calculating operations. A method of correcting image data which passes through a lens includes a step of extracting gain profiles with respect to channels from the image data(S02), a step of approximating the gain profiles(S03), a step of calculating a common profile from the approximated gain profiles(S04), and a step of setting new gain values for the channels to minimize an error between adjustment values of the gain profiles and the common profile. |
