A manufacturing method of an adjusting screw mounted to adjust elasticity of a spring for elastically supporting a solenoid is provided to improve the velocity of the process, reduce the labor cost, and simplify the production process, thereby improve productivity by automatically manufacturing the adjusting screw by the cold forging process. A manufacturing method of a spring adjusting screw for automobile comprises: a matrix cutting process(S1) of supplying a cylindrical steel bar-shaped matrix to cut the matrix into the form of a body part of a spring adjusting screw; a screw external form shaping process(S2) of forming a projecting joining part on one side of the body part of the cut matrix by cold rolling and forging; a heading process(S3) of cold processing the entire length and outer diameter of the external form of the body part integrated with the projecting joining part and cold forging an inner diameter of the other side of the body part such that a joining groove is formed in the body part to subject the external form of the adjusting screw to a primary cold processing within an allowable processing tolerance range; a heat treatment process(S4) of performing tempering and annealing to relieve the internal stress of the cold processed adjusting screw and stabilize structure of the adjusting screw; a forming process(S5) of processing the heat-treated adjusting screw several time using a cold forging punch to accurate form the external shape, the projecting joining part, and the joining groove on the body part of the adjusting screw; a body part processing process(S6) of processing an outer diameter of the body part of the external form-processed adjusting screw; a screw part processing process(S7) of processing a screw part on an outer peripheral side of the adjusting screw of which the outer diameter of the body part has been processed; and a manufacturing completion process(S8) of removing alien substances and sorting defects from the screw part-processed adjusting screw to complete manufacturing of the adjusting screw. |
