An apparatus for reducing an electromagnetic wave is provided to change an energy consumption apparatus according to the size of a signal induced from a signal reception antenna or an electromagnetic wave-shielding unit, thereby conveniently applying the apparatus to various types of devices. An electromagnetic wave-shielding unit(210) absorbs an electromagnetic wave generated from a signal transmitting and receiving antenna. A full wave-doubling and rectifying unit(220) is composed of a plurality of diodes and capacitors for transforming the electromagnetic wave absorbed by the electromagnetic wave-shielding unit into a voltage and doubling a level of the voltage. A matching inductor matches the electromagnetic wave-shielding unit to the full wave-doubling and rectifying unit. An energy consumption unit(230) consumes the voltage transformed by the full wave-doubling and rectifying unit. The energy consumption unit includes a zener diode, an LED(Light-Emitting Diode), or a capacitor. In the full wave-doubling and rectifying unit, an anode of a first diode is connected to one end of the matching inductor through a first node, and a cathode of the first diode is in serial connected to one side of a first capacitor through a second node. The other side of the first capacitor is in parallel connected to one side of a second capacitor. The other side of the second capacitor is connected to an anode of the second diode through a third node. A cathode of the second diode is in parallel connected to the anode of the first diode through the first node.
