A backrest connection device of a dual-back chair is provided to facilitate production work due to the simple structure and to cut down the production cost by assembling a backrest by projecting insertion pipes on the rear upper and lower sides of a protection cover and combining pipes with the upper and lower combining parts of the backrest. In a backrest connection structure of a dual-back chair, left and right backrests(12) are connected at both sides of a support rod of the chair by using rubber elastic pieces(8). The rubber elastic pieces are covered with a protection cover(10). Insertion pipes(16) having hanging pieces(16a) are protruded on the protection cover. Combining pipes(18) having hanging holes(18a) are protruded on the backrest. The rubber elastic pieces are fitted to the combining pipes of the backrest. And then, the backrest is assembled and fixed by fitting the hanging pieces to the hanging holes by inserting the insertion pipes of the protection cover into the combining pipes penetrating through the rubber elastic pieces.
