The plate (1) has a heating surface from glass ceramics for a gas heated device. Inner and outer combustion areas (2, 4) are controlled separately from each other. The outer combustion area exhibits the form partially uneven in a circulating direction. The outer combustion area surrounds the inner combustion area. One of the combustion areas exhibits a partially ring shaped partial area. The two combustion areas together provide a complete combustion area. An independent claim is also included for a multi circuit gas cooker with the burner plate.
