A day-night mechanism displays day- and night time, where the time of shifting of the day-night mechanism is mechanically controlled by the sunrise and sunset time mechanism. The sunrise and sunset time mechanism has sunrise and sunset time pins (16.1, 16.2) for determining angle position of a sunrise control wheel (12.1) and/or sunset control wheel.
