A potable water supply apparatus is provided to supply water of high quality consecutively by boiling and then cooling the water quickly and effectively. Raw water of waterwork is supplied continuously by a pump(P) through an airtight pipe(1). Foreign materials from the raw water in the pipe by a filter(F) installed in the pipe and the filtered water is heated to about 80 degrees by passing through pre-heating tanks(2). The pre-heated water is indirectly heated and sterilized by passing through a hot water tank(3), and then naturally cooled first by passing through a natural cooling tank(4) filled with the cold water collected through a drain pan(4a). The naturally cooled water is cooled again by passing through a cooling tank(5) and supplied to a cold water tap(6). The pipe is branched from the hot water tank to supply hot water to a hot water tap(7). |
