Error reduction in image sensors

摘要

A vignetting-like chromatic error, particularly found in image sensors having pixel dimensions of a few microns, is corrected by applying to each colour channel a gain factor which increases with the radial position of the pixel, and which is also controlled in dependence on ambient colour temperature.
