A power transmission system for a hybrid vehicle is provided to reduce energy loss generated from converting torque of an engine into electric energy. A power transmission system for a hybrid vehicle comprises a first drive unit, a power distribution unit distributing energy generated from the first drive unit to a plurality of energy branches, a power output unit using one of the energy branches that are distributed from the power distribution unit, a generator(140) converting into accumulative energy by using each of energy branches and a second drive unit driving the power output unit additionally by using energy accumulated by the generator.
