A METHODS TO IMPROVE IN VITRO MATURATION OF PIG OOCYTES

A method for in vitro maturing porcine oocytes is provided to stabilize the in vitro maturation of the porcine oocytes to develop normal blastocysts efficiently, thereby being used to study parthenogenesis, in vitro fertilization, and development mechanism before implantation through intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI) and utilizing it industrially. A method for in vitro maturing porcine oocytes comprises a step of in vitro maturing the porcine oocytes in a culture medium where leptin is added to a basic culture medium of TCM199, thereby culturing an early parthenogenesis before implantation and in vitro fertilized embryos to blastocyst, wherein the fertilized embryo is a fertilized porcine embryo.
