A range hood having improved exhaust efficiency is provided to reduce the weight of a range hood and ensure an internal space by forming a thin intake distribution duct having a tubular shape and distributing intake air to an air curtain through hole and an exhaust induction through hole. A range hood having improved exhaust efficiency comprises an exhaust fan(12), a body(10) and an exhaust duct. The exhaust fan is installed above a range(20) to exhaust contaminated air to the outside through a hood filter(13). The body has an intake fan(11) for sucking indoor air. The body is formed with an exhaust guide hole(141) and an air curtain hole(142). The exhaust duct is disposed between the exhaust guide hole and the air curtain hole to discharge contaminated air to the exhaust fan through a second hood filter(151).
