<p>A display device is provided to buffer external shock applied to a mold frame easily by varying an area contacting a buffering member and the mold frame depending on intensity of the external shock applied to the mold frame. A backlight assembly generates light and a display panel(20) displays an image by receiving the light. A receiving container receives the display panel and the backlight assembly by including a bottom side and sidewalls(82) extended from the bottom side. A mold frame(30) is combined with the receiving container and supports the display panel by including a frame part(32) corresponding to the sidewall. An elastic buffering member(100) is interposed between the frame part and the display panel, and buffers the display panel contacting with a curved side by including the curved side. The buffering member includes a buffering unit(102) having the curved side and combining units(101,103) combining with the frame part by being extended from both ends of the buffering unit. An area contacting the display panel and the buffering unit is increased as a distance between the display panel and the frame part is decreased.</p> |
