A grenade launcher for a helicopter is provided to rapidly and efficiently throw down a few grenades mounted therein into a non-accessible fire field and to simplify the configuration thereof. A grenade launcher includes two base plates(10) constituting front and rear faces, and interval maintenance rods(11) positioned between the base plates. Holes(12) and supporting tube bodies(13) are formed in the two base plates so as to mount and launch a few grenades(2). A plurality of guide rods(14) are provided between the opposite supporting tube bodies. Therefore, the grenades can be inserted into the paths defined by the supporting tube bodies and the guide rods, and launched therefrom. In addition, electronic ignition apparatuses(16) are installed at the rear surface of the one-side rear end base plate, blocking the holes. By the simple configuration, a few grenades can be mounted on and launched from the grenade launcher to extinguish a fire.
