The group of inventions relates to by-product-coking industry and can be used in plants for dry coke quenching. A plant comprises: the coke quenching chamber 1, circulation system 2 of cooling agent, comprising heat-recovery boiler 3 and mean for discharge of excess volume of cooling agent from circulation system, recirculation circle 5 of cooling agent, recirlulation circle 6 of gas mix, adjoining to the mean for continuous coke unloading 4, additional heat-recovery boiler 7, connected with the circulating circle 6 of gas mix and/or with with the system of circulation 2 of cooling agent. A method provides additional discharge of excess volume of cooling agent from the circulation system 2 of cooling agent and/or discharge of gas mix from circulation circle 6 of gas mix into additional heat-recovery boiler 7, where cooling agent and/or gas mix are subjected to thermal treatment followed by the utilization of waste gas heat. The invention allows increasing of efficiency of heat utilization and decreasing of environment contamination. |
