<p>A computer-readable medium storing a program for controlling archive of e-documents, and a system and a method for managing documents are provided to satisfy all document archive rules even if a plurality of archive rules are applied to the e-document, and specify the archive rule applied to the e-document based on a type of the e-document. A document storage device(100) is a storage device for archiving e-documents. An archive rule storing part(110) is the storage device for storing archive rules of e-documents. An archive manager(120) performs management for archiving the e-documents to satisfy the archive rule corresponding to the e-document by including a register(122), a repair processor(124), and a document provider(126). A rule manager manages information of the archive rules stored in the archive rule storing part based on a direction of an archive rule management terminal. A communication controller controls data communication between a document management server(10) and the network.</p> |
