摘要 A method and a system for detecting voice are provided to improve the performance in detection of voice even without calculating an anticipatory SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) value. An FFT(Fast Fourier Transformer)(10) performs an FFT operation on an input voice signal to convert the input voice signal into a voice signal of a frequency region. A noise signal dispersion-estimating unit(20) estimates the dispersion of a noise signal from a mute period of the converted voice signal. A critical value-calculating unit(30) calculates a critical value by using a fixed false alarm possibility value, based on the estimated dispersion of the noise signal. A voice detection determination value-calculating unit(40) calculates a voice detection determination value by using the critical value and a geometric average in the frame unit for a size of the noise signal. A voice detection-determining unit(50) determines that the voice is present if the voice determination value is larger than 0, and determines that the voice is absent if the voice determination value is not larger than 0.
