METHOD FOR OBTAINING PARTIAL IMAGE OF PORTABLE TERMINAL HAVING TOUCH SCREEN

A method for obtaining a partial image in a mobile terminal equipped with a touch screen is provided to obtain the partial image easily from a cropped image by performing an integrated mode in the mobile terminal, and execute a function easily by using the touch screen when the integrated mode is executed in the mobile terminal. A cropping mark is displayed in a predetermined area of a displayed image when a partial image obtaining request is generated(215). The cropping mark is moved to a position according to dragging and dropping a touch when the touch is detected in a first area of the cropping mark(225). A partial image corresponding to the inside of the cropping marks is displayed when cropping is requested(249). A size of the cropping mark is changed by corresponding to the dragged and dropped touch position when the touch is detected in the partial image. The first area is the inner area of the cropping marks and the second area is an edge of the cropping mark.
