A plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the generation of light interference phenomenon by making the dark region more. A first electrode(101) and a second electrode(102) are formed in parallel on a first substrate(100). A first dielectric(103) covers the first and second electrodes. A second substrate(200) is arranged on a position opposite to the first substrate. A third electrode(201) is formed on the second substrate to be intersected with the first and second electrodes. A second dielectric(203) covers the third electrode. Barrier ribs(204a) are formed between the first and second substrates to divide unit pixels. Exhaust regions(204b) are formed between the barrier ribs. Plural fluorescent substances are formed on each unit pixel. The barrier ribs and the exhaust region are colored with a mixed color of the fluorescent substances. The fluorescent substances include red, green, and blue fluorescent substances.
