PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire configured so that protruding parts contacted with each other by compressive deformation of land parts by grounding of a tread can surely support land parts at both sides, suppress deformation of the land parts and reduce rolling resistance while maintaining wet grip performance.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire having a plurality of land parts 5 partitioned by a plurality of groove lines formed at a tread 1, protruding parts 6 and 6 that protrude from both side faces opposing to each other of land parts 5 adjacent to each other across the groove lines 2 and 3 toward respective directions are formed at positions deeper than treading surfaces 5f of the land parts 5, and end surfaces 6s and 6s which approach and face each other of the opposing protruding parts 6 and 6 are both formed on rough faces with large friction resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
