PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire that can appropriately prevent the occurrence of bulge/dent in a joint part of a carcass ply without requiring large equipment cost.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire manufacturing method that forms a cylindrical carcass ply formed with a joint part by winding a carcass ply arranged in parallel with a plurality of cords on a cylindrical former and then cutting the cords, and overlapping a start end with a terminal end to join the ends, the carcass ply in which the plurality of cords are inclined at 3-7° with respect to the width direction of the carcass ply is cut parallel to the axial direction of the former to form a joint part with a width of 3-20 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
