PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of effectively improving repulsion performance of a face member without reducing the strength.SOLUTION: In a golf club head, a face member having a ball striking face is fixed to a head body 3. The head body 3 comprises a top part 3, a toe part 3b, a sole part 3c, and a heel part 3d, which are provided on a rear face side of the face member. In the sole part 3c, a thin part 8 is formed on the face member side along a toe/heel direction, and a thick part 9 is formed on a back side. The distance of the thin part 8 in a face/back direction changes according to the position in the toe/heel direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
