PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer set which enables the rapid diagnosis of SNP (rs2227982) of CTLA4 and SNP (rs231775) of PDCD1 affecting the onset of immune-mediated disease.SOLUTION: The invention provides a diagnostic method for immune-mediated epilepsy characterized by detecting SNP (rs231775) in CTLA4 gene exon 1 or SNP (rs2227982) in PDCD1 gene exon 5 by real-time PCR in HybProbe format with a pair of primer set consisting of forward primers consisting of a particular base sequence, and reverse primers consisting of a particular base sequence; a donor-dye probe labeled with fluorescein at the 3' end, and an acceptor-dye probe labeled with LCRED at the 5' end using the primer set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
