The method involves controlling a sub-component chosen among pressure sensors (5, 6), temperature sensors, oxygen analyzers (17, 18), logic controller (25) managing an oxygen concentrator, inlet and outlet valves and zeolitic adsorbent of an on-board oxygen generating system. Information about operation of the system is deducted from a result obtained by the control. The system is stopped when the controlling and deduction are executed. An independent claim is also included for an on-board oxygen generating system for an aircraft. |
