A peripheral housing has an internal partition (71) and an external partition (72), where the height of each partition is lower than the height of a supporting surface (22). The partition has cuts whose sections correspond to sections of an electronic cable aligned on the tunnel. A sealed and compressible O-ring joint (8) has a section adapted to a section of the housing, and is placed in the housing, where the height of the joint is higher than the height of a tapered peripheral edge (2). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Cover for a luminaries connecting device socket that is utilized for connecting a luminaries in a bathroom. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The joint permits to absorb irregularities of a surface on which the cover is fixed, while assuring a perfect sealing effect to the socket at a regulation direction, so that the cover permits the socket to connect the luminaries in a volume of the bathroom. The borders of the screw hole assures a protection against the crashing of the tabs during fitting of a screw in the hole, thus preventing the cover from being cracked, and hence avoiding a risk of penetration of humidity in the socket. The design of the cover permits to form an additional barrier, so as to avoid the migration of the water along the cable.
