The furniture (10) has two posts (7) articulated in cross around an axle constituted by a stud (5), and a rectangular toile (3) for forming a backrest. The toile has a fold (4) to form housing. Each post has an end (7a) inserted in the housing for limiting opening of the cross of the posts when an individual rests on the toile and leans against the backrest. Each post has another end (7b) that is maintained on the ground by a simple friction. The toile has a width lesser than a length of the posts.
