#CMT# #/CMT# The cover (10) has a circular cover portion (20) covering a tire tread of a wheel of a motor vehicle to increase adhesion with the ground. A rectangular plastic relief element (30) is arranged in a manner to produce a grouser effect. A polygonal shaped seam is arranged in a manner to integrate the element on the cover portion. The element is decentered towards the front of the portion and along a direction that is parallel to an axis of the wheel. The element has an orifice that receives a spike. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Anti-slip cover for covering a wheel of a motor vehicle to form an anti-skid device that is utilized for covering snow and ice surfaces in case of meteorological disturbance. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The plastic relief element permits to increase a contact surface between the cover and the ground, thus increasing capacity of transmitting power between the wheel and the ground, and increasing traction and directional control of the vehicle. The design of the cover permits to improve performance of the cover during high snow coverage, to reduce premature wear due to abrasion between the wheel and the ground and to prevent the element from being deteriorated by corrosion. The plastic relief element permits to reduce deterioration of the road and noise during moving of the vehicle. The polygonal shape of the seam permits to simplify the operation of the seam and to reduce time and manufacturing cost of the cover. The cover can be adapted to any type of vehicles.
