<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recombinant Haemophilus influenzae adhesin (rHia). <P>SOLUTION: Recombinant production of Hia protein, in full-length and N-terminally truncated forms, of non-typeable strains of Haemophilus influenzae, is described.
