<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse photometer which obtains an absorbance ratio by easily removing noise from a noise superimposed observation signal and extracting pulse-wave data. <P>SOLUTION: The signal processing method includes the step of preprocessing measured pulse-wave data of every wavelength obtained by irradiating biological tissue with light having two different wavelengths and converting transmitted or reflected light of every wavelength to an electrical signal, and the step of splitting and whitening the preprocessed pulse-wave data of the wavelengths into a plurality of alternating current frequency bands, and the pulse-wave signals are separated from noise signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
