PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metering device capable of enhancing inexpensively a performance effect for high grade sense and high-quality feeling, by illumination with a plurality of colors. SOLUTION: This metering device provided with display parts 31a, 31b of a dial meter part 31, and a light emitting diode 12a for illuminating an inner wall 41 of a ring member 40 surrounding an outer circumference thereof, is provided with a metallic coating film 44 for coating a surface in the ring member 40, and further with a colored translucent coating film 45 for coating the metallic coating film 44, and having a color different from an emission light color from the light emitting diode 12a, in an inner circumferential wall of the ring member 40. The inner circumferential wall of the ring member 40 is thereby illuminated annularly by the color of the colored translucent coating film 45 having the color different from those of the display parts 31a, 31b, when the light emitting diode 12a lights on.
