PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet type waterproof canvas door for which raising and spreading work as well as its installing work to both sidewalls can be performed almost by simple operation. SOLUTION: A sheet type waterproof canvas door 5 is installed for closing a passage opening 4 surrounded by a floor surface 1 and both sidewalls 2 and 3 of a building or the like. Door installing posts 14 and 15, which are respectively raised and locked along both the sidewalls 2 and 3 during the use of the door, are raised and locked along both the sidewalls 2 and 3 at both the corners created between the floor surface 1 and the sidewalls 2 and 3 during the use of the canvas door. When the canvas door is not being used, the door installing posts 14 and 15 are respectively pushed down along the floor surface 1 by means of hinged fittings 16 which permit the moving of the posts 14 and 15 in an easily rising or falling manner. Also, a flexible waterproof sheet 10 used as the waterproof canvas door for closing the passage opening 4 is fixed to the side of the floor surface 1 in a watertight manner at its bottom end portion 10a, and both end portions 10b of the canvas door are fixed to the installing posts 14 and 15 respectively in a watertight manner.
