PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block polymer suitable for industrial production and a cosmetic composition such as hair-setting agent composition including the block polymer or the like. SOLUTION: The block polymer is obtained by connecting two or more blocks that comprises monomers bearing vinyl functional groups through connecting monomers having radical polymerizable vinyl functional groups and non-radical polymerizable functional group. The two or more blocks include at least a first block and a second block, different from each other, and the radically polymerizable vinyl functional groups of the connecting monomer connects with the first block monomer and the non-radical polymerizable functional group connects with the second block monomer.
