METHOD, SYSTEM AND MEANS FOR APPLYING IMS COMMUNICATION SERVICE IDENTIFIERS IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method, a system and a means for applying IMS communication service identifiers in a communication system are provided to make network entities requiring to use the IMS communication service identifiers may obtain the IMS communication service identifiers from HSS. The method includes the steps of: HSS knowing the arrival of information related to a user subscribed IMS communication service identifier; and then HSS sending the user subscribed IMS communication service identifier information to a network entity requiring to use the IMS communication service identifier according to the said information related to the user subscribed IMS communication service identifier. The system includes: HSS for knowing the arrival of information related to a user subscribed IMS communication service identifier, and sending the user subscribed IMS communication service identifier information to a network entity requiring to use the IMS communication service identifier according to the said information related to the user subscribed IMS communication service identifier; and a network entity requiring to use the IMS communication service identifier for receiving the IMS communication service identifier information sent from HSS.
