The system (1) has sensors (2a) for determining a condition based on traffic conditions, a vehicle and a driver. The system selects a presentation type of a support function (3a) based on the determined condition. The presentation type is selected from a group consisting of an optical presentation type i.e. display (4), acoustic presentation type i.e. loudspeaker (5) and haptic presentation type i.e. steering wheel (6). An independent claim is also included for a method for selecting a presentation type of a support function of a driver assistant function.
