<p>A simplified variable orifice for a conduit furnishing a stream of partic ulate coa! to a burner for a turbine in an electrical utility plant. Two pla tes are installed across the conduit, one of them being fixed and the other being variable in angular position relative to the first. A lockable mechani sm is provided externally of the conduit to manually adjust the degree of bl ocking and to indicate the position of the movable plate.</p> |
