A shock absorber is provided to smoothly perform buffer action by continuously flowing oil through a spiral passage. A shock absorber comprises a body(10') in which a piston rod(20) reciprocates. A bumper(21) is coupled to a front end of the piston rod. A rod guiding part(30) is installed between the body and the piston rod. An annular space is formed at an outer surface of the rod guiding part. An accumulator(31) is installed on the annular space. A piston(40) and a spring guide(41) are movably installed on the piston rod. A spring provides the spring guide with elastic force. A spiral passage(15) communicates with a cutting part formed at a rear end of the rod guiding part. An annular passage(12) is formed between an outer surface of the piston and an inner surface of the body. The spiral passage is formed at an inner surface of a sleeve(15) inserted into an inner rear side of the body.
