The present invention relates to a wearable device for protecting kids and a control method thereof. The main idea is to receive at least one among a gesture, sound, position information, brightness information, and body information of a user wearing the wearable device, to determine whether there exists a risk based on at least one among the received gesture, sound, position information, brightness information, and body information, and to transmit a message with a predetermined phone number when it is determined that there exists the risk. The wearable device comprises a communication module, an interface module, and a controller. |
