<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack which is provided with a power generation unit of intermittent cooling type, can cool each power generation unit uniformly, and can secure an excellent power generation performance. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack 10 has a first end part power generation unit 16a and a first dummy unit 18a installed adjacent to a power generation unit 12 at one end side in lamination direction of a laminate 14. The first end part power generation unit 16a is laminated in the order with a first separator 26, a first electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly 28a, a second separator 30, a conductive plate 60, and a third separator 32 from the power generation unit 12 side. Cooling medium is supplied in a cooling medium passage 50 formed between the power generation unit 12 and the first end part power generation unit 16a, thereby, a second electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly 28b of the power generation unit 12 and the first electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly 28a of the first end part power generation unit 16a are cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
