<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium with which the tracking by continuous servo is possible while making high recording density and cross erasure resistance compatible with each other, and to provide a tracking method of optical pickup to the optical recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: With the optical recording medium, a recording layer does not exist between first recording tracks 20a and second recording tracks 20b and therefore, the prevention of the occurrence of the cross erasure is made possible. Also, the recording tracks are composed of the first recording tracks 20a of a broad width and the second recording tracks 20b of a narrow width and are alternately arranged at the same spaces via projecting parts (or recessed parts) of the same width and thereby the tracking of not only the first recording tracks 20a of the broad width but also the second recording tracks 20b of the arrow width by the continuous servo is enabled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
